Colour advice

We pick the colour together, on your own wall.

We bring the colour chart and paint sample patches on the wall. Live with them for a day, in daylight and with the lamps on. Then you choose. Free when we do the job.

What people often ask

What’s your hourly rate?

We don’t charge by the hour. You get one fixed price up front for the whole job, paint and materials included, so you know exactly where you stand.

How long does outside paintwork last?

Well-painted wood lasts 6 to 8 years, a bit less on the sunny side. Have it checked every 3 years and you’ll stay ahead of rot.

When can you start?

Outside, we paint from March to October, when it’s dry and above 10°C. Inside, all year round. We can usually start 4 to 6 weeks after you give us the go-ahead.

Does someone need to be in?

Not for outside work. For inside work, only on the first day and when we finish. Or you can just leave us a key.
